20 August, Kathmandu. A woman has been rescued alive from a flooded house in Betravati, Nuwakot. According to Armed Police Spokesperson Netra Bahadur Karki, the armed police team rescued Anand Shrestha's wife Chandika alive from her house at Betravati, Bidur Municipality 10.
The team under the command of Inspector Suman Vick has prepared to rescue and bring him to Kathmandu via helicopter for treatment.
Earlier, one Chinese citizen was also rescued from Upper Trishuli-1 by the Nepali Army. Similarly, 2 people were also rescued from Trishuli 3A tunnel yesterday.
