Gyanendra Shahi, the leader of the parliamentary party of Rashtriya Prajatantra Party (RPP), has prayed that the citizens trapped in the tunnel of Haku-216 hydroelectric project may be rescued alive today.

Shahi asked God to pray to God this morning to remove the mud and water frozen inside the Haku-216 tunnel today and make the rescue way easier.

He then wished that all the citizens trapped inside the tunnel could be rescued alive by removing the garbage and other obstacles piled up in the dam area.

"Let's pray this morning to God that the mud and water inside the Haku-216 tunnel can be removed today," she said through social media, "Then all the citizens trapped inside the tunnel can be rescued alive by removing the garbage and obstructions in the dam area."

According to Shahi, he recently got information about the efforts being made to rescue those trapped in the tunnel during a conversation with the Nepali Army.

Targeting the families who have been waiting for the rescue of their relatives for a long time, Shahi has expressed hope that today will be a happy day for them.

"Recently, while talking to the Nepali Army, they have informed about the efforts being made in the rescue operation. Let's hope that today will be a happy day for their families who have been waiting anxiously for a long time," said Shahi.
