16 August, Kathmandu. Education and Sports Minister Sasmit Pokharel has said that the Education Act will be introduced soon so that all stakeholders can adopt it.
In an interaction held on Tuesday with the representatives of various umbrella organizations of private school operators at the Ministry of Education and Sports, Minister Pokharel said that the law will be finalized in a mature manner by incorporating the suggestions received during the drafting of the law.
"During the preparation of the Education Act, we have discussed with the stakeholders, we will finalize the Act as soon as possible by incorporating their opinions and suggestions," he said. With the same understanding, we have discussed with all stakeholders as much as possible.
Minister Pokharel stressed on the need to strengthen the partnership between the government and the private sector to ensure quality and practical education.
He said that the government has taken all stakeholders in the education sector as partners.
