A teacher died after being hit by a tipper on East West Mahendra Highway on Saturday afternoon. According to the Bara police, the deceased is Dev Bahadur Chaure, a teacher who teaches at Nepal National Secondary School Manharwa, located in Kalaiya sub-metropolitan city 24.

Jitpursimra sub-metropolis-16 Chaurelai, a resident of Piluwa, was hit by a tipper bearing the number 134 between Dudhaura-Piluwa road on Saturday afternoon.

Soon after the incident, Chaurel was rescued and taken to Bayodha Hospital in Gandak, but the doctor declared him brought dead, police said. The police have detained the tipper along with the driver.
