According to the details of the Madhesh Police Office, Janakpur, the number of people who were reported to be out of touch in the Rasuwa flood by 10 am has reached 220.
According to the provincial police office, the number of people who were reported as out of touch two days ago was only 195.
According to SSP Prabhu Prasad Dhakal, Police Spokesperson of Madhesh Police Office, 38 people have been contacted so far out of those who were reported as out of touch.
Two others have been confirmed dead. SSP Dhakal said that one person from Saptari and Bara died. Still 180 people are without contact after the flood.
According to the district-wise details, maximum 52 people from Saptari are without contact. Among them, 3 people have come in contact and 1 person has died. 48 people are still without contact.
Out of 46 people in Parsa, 3 people have come in contact, while 43 people have no contact.
Out of 30 people in Bara, 4 people have come in contact, 1 person has died and 25 people are out of contact.
Similarly, out of 20 people in Rautahat, 6 people have come in contact and 14 people have no contact. Out of 27 people from Sarlahi, 6 people have come in contact while 21 people are not in contact, it is mentioned in the details.
Out of 17 people from Mahottari, 7 people have come in contact and 10 people have no contact.
SSP Dhakal said that out of 14 people from Dhanusha, 7 people have come in contact and 7 people have no contact. Out of 14 people from Siraha, 2 people have come in contact and 12 people are still out of contact.
