Kathmandu. The police arrested 41-year-old Moti Bahadur Rokay, a resident of Laha, Dolpa Tripurasundari Municipality-5, with 16 grams and 780 milligrams of illegal drug hashish-like substance from Khopichar in Sisne Rural Municipality-6 of Rukum East this morning. The police stationed at the temporary police post Khopichar arrested him with the substance.
21-year-old Ranjan Bhomjan, resident of Hetauda sub-metropolis-16 Purveli Damar of Makwanpur, was arrested by the police today with 4,860 tablets of controlled drug tramadol and 45 tablets of nitrazepam. The police stationed from the Makwanpur district police office searched his house and found the drug and arrested him, according to the police central news room.
Police arrested three people this morning from Dhangadhi sub-metropolitan city-3 of Kailali with one gram 380 milligrams of illegal drug brown sugar. Among those arrested are 24-year-old Nirajan Dagaura of Bardagoria Rural Municipality-6 of Dhangadhi-3, Doti Jorayal Rural Municipality-5 of Dhangadhi-3 and Suraj Nepali of 23-years-old and Bharat Palia of Dhangadhi-3 and Dinesh Gupta of 19 years of residence. The police are conducting necessary investigations in this regard.
Meanwhile, the police arrested 16 people with illegal drugs from various places in the country on Monday.
Two from Ramgram Municipality-1 in Nawalparasi West, two from Machhapuchhre Rural Municipality-8 in Kaski, two from Lumre, three from Dhankuta Municipality-2 Guranse in Dhankuta, two from Itahari Sub-Metropolitan Municipality-2 Damphu Chowk in Sunsari, three from various places in Kanchanpur, one from Dhangadhi Sub-Metropolitan Municipality-2 in Kailali, one from Mechinagar Municipality-6 old Mechipul in Jhapa. One person was arrested from Hariyali tol located in Kalika Municipality-1 of Chitwan and one person was arrested from Guwagaon of Kohalpur Municipality-4 of Banke, according to the police central news room.
