Chery Nepal has launched its compact electric crossover, Chery Q EV, in Nepal at the NAIMA Nepal Mobility Expo 2026, starting at a competitive price. The EV is aimed at people who want an EV experience at a budget price but with practicality and features. Chery Q comes with a spacious interior, cool design, and up to 400 km of range, being perhaps its best-selling point.
Chery Q EV comes in two variants, with the price starting at Rs 34.39 lakh for the Comfort variant. The Premium model is priced at Rs 35.99 lakh.
Chery Q EV boasts a 41.2 kWh LFP battery that powers a 90 kW electric motor. The motor produces maximum torque of 115 Nm to drive the rear wheels. As mentioned above, the car offers up to 400 km of range (NEDC) on a full charge. A ground clearance of 175mm means it’s decent for Nepal’s off-road conditions too.
The company claims that the car can be charged from 30% to 80% in 16.5 minutes with DC fast-charging.

The Q EV makes solid use of the available space. The vehicle comes with a 70-liter front storage compartment, aka frunk. At the rear, the available cargo space expands to 1,450 liters, giving owners plenty of room for luggage and everyday items. Inside, the Q EV features an intuitive touchscreen infotainment display of up to 15.6 inches.

The 540-degree camera system enables the driver to see underneath and all around the vehicle to park safely in tight spots. The company has emphasized practicality to ensure that the experience with it is convenient on a daily basis.
Chery also boasts a decent selection of safety and driver-assistance systems. Some of its notable safety features are six airbags, ADAS, 540-degree panoramic camera, driving assistance systems, advanced braking systems, parking assistance technology, etc.
The combination of six airbags and ADAS provides an additional layer of protection important for parking and for avoiding accidents and physical hazards in worst-case scenarios. At the same time, the panoramic camera improves the driver’s view around the vehicle during parking and low-speed maneuvering.
The Chery Q EV starts at Rs 34.39 lakh for the Comfort variant, while the Premium variant costs Rs 35.99 lakh.
