One thousand 282 dead bodies have been found among those who died in the devastating flood in Bhotekoshi river of Rasuwa.
Nepal Police Central Police Spokesperson and Deputy Inspector General of Police Abinarayan Kafle informed that 1,282 bodies were found in Rasuwa, Nuwakot, Dhading, Chitwan, Gorkha, Tanahun, Nawalparasi East and Nawalparasi West (including those found in India).
According to the information released by the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Authority, according to the authority, 5 thousand 83 people affected by the flood are still without contact.
Authority spokesperson Shanti Mahat informed that 12,038 people have been rescued from the flood-affected areas so far. According to him, there are more than three thousand holding centers.
According to Deputy Inspector General of Police Kafle, 21 thousand 402 security personnel are working continuously in search and rescue operations.
304 people who were injured in the flood are being treated in different hospitals. According to the authority, the Nepali Army provided health care services to 3 thousand 206 people and the Armed Police to 1 thousand 874 people.
