Kathmandu. The Flood Forecasting Division has said that there is a "high possibility" of flash floods in Bhotekoshi, Trishuli and small rivers flowing through Rasuwa and Nuwakot districts. According to the flood forecast bulletin published by the division this morning, there is a high risk of flooding in these two districts.

Similarly, it has been announced that there is a moderate risk of flooding in small rivers in more than three dozen other districts of the country. After the flood in Rasuwa's Bhotekoshi on August 10th, the current flow of Bhotekoshi and Trishuli rivers is below the alert level.

However, the department has asked for high vigilance in those areas. According to this morning's measurement, the flow of Koshi, Narayani, Bagmati, Karnali, Mahakali and their tributaries as well as Kankai, Kamala, Babai, East Rapti and West Rapti rivers are below the alert level.

The water level of major rivers of the country is expected to rise significantly for the next three days. According to the details of the department, the flow in the rivers of Koshi, Karnali, Mahakali, Kankai, Kamala, Bagmati, East Rapti, West Rapti and Babai basin will increase significantly.

It is estimated that the water level in Betravati water measuring station of Trishuli river under Narayani basin will rise significantly today and tomorrow and reach the danger level. Similarly, it is suggested to be cautious as the flow will increase in Budhigandaki, Marsyangdi and Seti rivers.
