The Ministry of Home Affairs has requested everyone not to fly small and unauthorized drones in flood-affected areas.
According to the ministry, only official drones with a payload capacity of up to 100 kg, which are used for transporting relief materials and transferring dead bodies, will be allowed to fly.
The ministry has warned that if other drones are found to be flying without permission, they will be seized by the anti-drone team.
The Ministry has requested everyone to follow the regulations regarding drone flights in flood-affected areas to make rescue and relief operations safe and effective.
