Police have arrested a 17-year-old boy who was involved in the incident of the missing 11-year-old boy Rajesh Kumar Sah from Vishrampur in Bara who was taken to India and killed.
District Police Office Bara has registered a case against the accused juvenile for the crime of abduction and duty killing and proceeded with the investigation.
11-year-old Rajesh Kumar Sah, a resident of Vishrampur rural municipality-3 Musaharwa, went missing from his home on August 9 at around 9:00 am. On the same day at 7:50 pm, after the family informed the police station Musaharwa, the police intensified the search.
During the search, on August 11th at 10:30 in the morning, the body of a child was found on the banks of Sinha River in Nunyadi Panchayat Ward No.1, Motihari District, Bihar State, India.
According to District Police Office Bara Information Officer and Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Min Bahadur Ghale, based on the collected CCTV footage, statements of local residents and coordination with the Indian police, it was revealed that a 17-year-old teenager from the same place kidnapped the child and killed him with a log at that place in India.
