17 August, Biratnagar. The police have recovered marijuana from the border area of Biratnagar in a hospital van.

A team deployed from the Armed Police Force Nepal BOP Daraiya seized 60 kg of marijuana on Tuesday night at Kolar Chowk in Biratnagar Metropolitan City-16 Daraiya.

At 11:00 pm, 'Divya Jyoti Hospital Pvt. The security personnel tried to stop the Suzuki van with the number Ko1ch 6620 written on it.

When the armed police team tried to check, the driver of the van left the vehicle and ran away. When the security personnel searched the van after the driver fled, they found about 60 kg of marijuana packed in two sacks, the armed police said.

The Armed Police has informed that they are preparing to hand over the recovered van and marijuana to the Nepal Police.
