Bollywood actor Ajay Devgn's film 'Drishyam-3' is still running in theaters with vigor. On the other hand, a dozer has been driven at Ajay Devgn's bungalow in Juhu, Mumbai.
The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) has taken action and bulldozed the unauthorized construction inside his bungalow. The action was taken due to unauthorized alterations and construction work on the bungalow.
Inside the bungalow, changes were being made to walls, windows and other structural parts using Siporex blocks without necessary approval. In this regard, the Building Proposals Department of BMC issued a stop work notice on 10 September 2026 under the Mumbai Metropolitan Municipality. The Devgan family had asked for four weeks' time to reply, but even after the allotted time, no documents or replies were submitted and the work continued in silence. Finally, the BMC team reached and took action against this construction going on without permission.
This entire controversy started over the commercial use of Bangla. On 10 August 2026, the Devgan family leased this bungalow to 'Florian Hurrell Salon Private Limited' for 5 years. This agreement was made for Rs 10 crore 61 lakhs, the initial monthly rent of which was fixed at Rs 16 lakhs. There was a plan to open a commercial salon and spa in the bungalow, which was constantly opposed by the residents of Kapole Society. Locals said that opening a salon in a residential area would create serious traffic, parking and security problems.
